I was quite fortunate to grow up with a 1950’s Health Nut, my mother!
Whole grains, veggies, lots of fruit, no soda, and only limited sweets was the norm in our home. Since my taste buds had a great start, I was off and running in a healthy lifestyle.
These days I am a Certified Health Counselor, Gourmet Cook and Animal Rights Advocate. I became a Health Counselor to fulfill my passion for Raising Awareness of Nutrition and the Powerful Mind/Body Connection.
I received my training to practice Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which is the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories—combining the knowledge of traditional philosophies with modern concepts like the USDA food pyramid, the glycemic index, the Zone and Raw foods. I am certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
I lead seminars on Nutrition and offer Coaching to Individuals and Groups. Learn More about my offerings here.
